What To Do for Picky Eaters‼️
You have two options:
1. Give them 5 minutes to eat breakfast and dinner. After 5 minutes, if they don’t eat, take the food away and pour the kibble back in the bag. After 3-5 days they will start eating.
2. Only feed during training sessions. If the dog doesn’t take kibble during training, they don’t eat. No treats. After 3-5 days, the dog will start eating.

Damn, man, why don't you find a way to feed your dog food they like instead of starving them into eating food they hate. Try good raw canned food like salmon, beef and duck, or a different dry food, or alternating. There's something to be said for having variety and enjoying what you eat, kind of like we do.

Yes, be sure that they eat something however if it's been 24-48 hours and still don't eat what you offer, you can give canned food if they eat while or seconds after they are done eating what's offered until 6 months best not to though

People get very triggered by this method because they dont have common sense to discern when this is appropriate. It's obviously not for dogs that are good at eating and suddenly aren't, it's for chronically picky eaters thst are oherwise healthy. Of course if your puppy or normally good eating adult dog suddenly won't eat it's likely a health issue, and there is often additional signs to signal so, but if there aren't any and 1 or more vets can't find any issues with a full vet check (dental xrays, abdominal exam/xrays, blood work, urinalysis etc) then this is warranted

The more I sat and thought about this video, the more I disturbed me at a deep level. You could put liver in front of me for a freaking week and I wouldn’t eat it because I don’t like liver. This is the case with my dog. We had him on pure kibble which he stopped eating, then went to wet+kibble, stopped eating, then I started cooking him turkey, spinach, brown rice, etc (honestly it was good enough I was eating it). I agree. People who want to feed their dog healthy food are full of it. Sugar-filled, unhealthy, ultra-processed kibble is the way to go. Don't go for that healthy food nonsense. Say "yes" to 50% cancer rate. Who wants an 18 or 20 year old healthy dog anyway.

I saw this reel almost a year ago when I got my puppy. Never needed the advice until a week ago when she started throwing tantrums. It took five days but she started eating everything with just as much enthusiasm as her favourite stuff. Thanks man

Tried this he still wont fold he will eat every 2 days the bare minimum has lost 7lbs in the last 7 months the vet says he is just impressively picky and holding his ground. Blood work was done and there is no issues.

I thought this was going to be satire... Saying "Well I just have a picky eater, guess I'm going to starve my dog until it appreciates anything I put in it's bowl 🤪", for when your dog doesn't eat it's food for more than a day, honestly just sounds like neglect. You're not going to starve your kid if they refuse to eat broccoli. What if your dog is ill? What if the food your giving your dog is MAKING it ill because it has a sensitivity to it's ingredients?? What if there's not enough nutrition in the ingredients??? These should be your first thoughts and concerns. If your dog isn't eating it's food, please consult a vet, and while you're at it, show your vet this short and ask them for their genuine opinion on this guy because I have a feeling they're not going to agree with him.

I used their kibble to train them instead of leaving the bowl out. They ate when they train. This helped me figure out what kibble they liked too

this is actually true, my dogs use to eat chicken but when i switch it with healtier options they won't eat however, i adopter my sister dogs which they couldn't fed on time or ever not feeding for whole day thats why hes really excited whatever i put in his bowl and finished it. so i thought I really spoiled my dogs

This guy should not have a dog. That is awful advice. My dog is a pretty picky eater and some dogs like eating a certain times of the day. For example my dog is picky so what I do is I get a spoonful of wet food from the can and mix it in his bowl add a little bit of water mix everything and he absolutely enjoys it. Then I store the rest in the fridge in a container. My dog is 66 lbs he'll eat 4-8 cups per day and he is very healthy. But you can't just not let them eat because they'll start vomiting bile that they used to break down the food. They throw it up because it starts irritating their stomach because no food is passing through their body
