Hi, I have the same problem, but after the 2 test page come out, the printer doesn't print other pages. I need the combination to hard reset the printer please.

Nevermind, i found the problem. I dissasembled the scaner motor, clean it and put it back and now the printer works as new.

Now the printer is ready status? if ready try install fulldriver and go to Toolbox and reset or setup

I have same problem with my HP 125a , Error E8 , HOW TO SOLVE THAT,

try reconnect cable scan from main board, if still problem, disassemble scanner unit reconnect parts if still replace motor or scanner
