I'm having issues with audio laging from video gameplay through my capture card.. I have a Mac so I have to use parallels and wonder if that has anything to do with it but hoping there is a solve. I also use a streamkey but like having the option to use Live Studio when I don't want to stream to other platforms at the same time.

If you have a stream key then you dont need parallels and can use the native OBS Mac app. As you suggest, it is likely the complexity of your setup sadly

It's poorly optimised. All I can suggest is trying the h264 or h265 encoders.

When I go to play a game for E.g Tomb raider, the chat bar disappears and I can't see anything but the game I'm playing... do I need 2 screens if this Is that case?

You should be able to lock the chat in place. If its broken try windowed mode. that said, two screens is certainly easier or even consider making a modded second tt account and view it from your phone

This might be an issue with the current version of LS. Try playing with the sound settings (above the cog symbol). Try also using display capture and setting your game to windowed full screen.

Thanks for the videos. It's helped me set up a basic stream. If I can ask a question, I'm running into audio issues. Have you seen a way to split audio to TikTok like and external speakers? Here is the scenario. Casting vr game to pc from my headset via chrome, the TikTok live is broadcasting the live. Everything works perfectly. I wanted to use a plugin to called tikfinity to read out my chat and gifts. In order to do this I have to switch the pc audio over to the tv speakers. But now I hear my game play and the chat reader. It's distracting and cusses feedback. If I mute chrome then live doesn't get gameplay audio. Can you think of anyway I can pipe the audio from the game into chrome but have it not come out of the speakers?

It picks up the video from the capture card just fine. But no audio is going through to tik tok live studio at all. It's specifically a problem with the capture card audio not being picked up. I'm a little confused by this questions not gonna lie. If you're playing on PC just go into your speaker settings and make sure you have the correct speakers or headset assigned as the default. Then on LIVE studio assign the same speakers as default using the sound settings (above the cog). Also check your settings inside COD to make sure the correct speakers are assigned.

you're obviously below what TikTok recommends so I would advise experimenting to see if it causes any issues. Just try the base 1080p settings which automatically gives you a 8k bitrate first. Make sure you use H265 like I used here. If that causes too much lag lower it to 720p and also experiment with H264 if you still lag.

I’m having static sounds coming in through my game play audio and on Spotify. The only thing that helps is deleting it and re adding it to the audio mixer but then it comes back in like 30 minutes. Hi, I have a really annoying problem and I'll of course write to TikTok but maybe you know a quicker solution: when streaming from my phone, everything works fine, but since I don't have the streaming interface for audio to connect my DJM mixer to my iPhone which I wanna use as a camera, I'm trying to stream from Windows with Live Studio for now. I started with a blank canvas, added my webcam and the audio is coming via cable directly into my computer. When I check the recording after, it only shows a blank screen but there is sound, when I'm trying to check the stream on my phone, the thing in the middle of the screen keeps spinning and it doesn't seem to connect not even to hear any audio as if nothing would be broadcasted :/ I'm trying to stream from a Mac Mini 2012 with an integrated video card, using the settings Live Studio has set up according to my upload speed. I use an elgato capture device to stream my console and tik tok live studio still uses a lot of my CPU. If I try and use my avatar and voice changing software I get lag. I Tik Tok live studio uses way too much resources compared to OBS for my liking. They should make stream keys more available if they're giving people access to desktop live anyway

there could be a lot of reasons but it's likely you're putting your graphics card or CPU under a lot of strain unless you have good specs. Virtual Cam on its own shouldnt be too intensive.

Bro, i have 2k followers and im trying to use the TikTok Studio Live but not working for me, could help me? After it saying Login Success its loading the screen and i get "Couldn't Log In. Try Again" message. I tried 100 install/uninstalls, firewall on/off, anything... on my laptop its working but on my pc not. I tried to copy files from laptop and i got the same error.

The VPN method appears to be largely patched. Try without a VPN.

Is there a reason one would get a lot of traffic via mobile versus TikTok studio? It seems when I’m using my mobile device and I don’t select a topic I get a lot of traffic, versus when I use TikTok live and I have to pick a topic and I’m seeing very little traffic. There can be so many factors that affect viewership. The most likely answer is that your audience is not used to this style of content so the average view time drops and TikTok pushes your live to fewer people. Try doing a mix of both to get the viewers used to it. For Bonjour, all I can really suggest is uninstall and reinstall it.

When I tried using Tiktok Live Studio yesterday it updated and after that it’s now asking me to install Bonjour, but I already have and I’ve already tried reinstalling both programs a few times and nothing seems to be fixing it so looks like I won’t be using it until the next update because I can’t find any sort of tech support or Tiktok customer service to contact

@@TTLiveWithHarry thanks for replying back but I figured out the problem shortly after I commented lol On Lenovo devices in the Lenovo Vantage app there’s a setting called “Network Boost” which basically drastically reduces your internet speeds when playing any game to prioritize it for that game only so streaming is literally not possible with it on so I turned it off and we’re good now, I saw some other people with the same issue and that’s the fix👍🏻

There are no set requirements to get a stream key. They are issued via agencies. If you can't join an agency then check to see if you have access to TikTok LIVE Studio which lets you stream from a Windows PC. Agencies are country based. Could be lag related. Try streaming 720p 30/24 fps. Try low game quality settings. Make sure inside stream quality you are using hardware encoder.

I do not understand why you'd want to do this. Typically anything that doesn't start with "H" is your CPU (at least for Nvidia gfx cards)

I think you can stream any game that doesn't have overly sexual content (i.e. be careful with GTA). The problem is that the TikTok AI is not very good at detecting when something is a video game or when something is real life.

Hey Harry, thanks a lot for the helpful videos. Maybe you can help me with an TikTok Live Studio issue. I have a problem with the alerts. I tried a lot (reinstallation, different settings) but there is no gift alert during my live streams. follower alerts and sub alerts are working well. I know the alert is only activated from at least 10 coin gifts, but no matter what gift a viewer is sending, the alert doesnt work. Even the alert picture does not appear. So i can't react to gifts and that is really annoying. Greetings from germany. Keep on the good work.
