Absolutely awful information. If it's a separate malfunction with the controller, chances are you will need to fix it yourself (which isn't that difficult to do).

There is nothing wrong with my controller. I am using it on my computer. When I am playing games it only allows me to move with the analog buttons instead of with the directional buttons. How do I get my pc to recognize the directional buttons and not just the analog buttons? I want to be able to use the directional buttons instead of the analog buttons because I can move better in the game.

I figured out my issue. I noticed in the game I was playing you have to set what you want the buttons to do. I had to program the directional buttons. Once I did that it works.

I unscrewed and took it apart. Didn’t do anything to it, screwed it back together, and that somehow fixed it. (You could try this if nothings working)

I never like to lay negative comments but I gotta be real. This video title was very misleading and the advice was absolutely useless. At least give people instructions to try and open and clean the controller and replace the flex ribbon before jumping to “lol just buy a new one.”

Search this problem with graphite pencil it worked for a few weeks then problem reappeared 😢
