(I have a playstation PRO) Mine is turning on but it's stuck on an "updating" screen and it's stuck on 24% , it stays on this screen for about 5-10 minutes before it then goes to a light black/dark grey screen with the words "PS4 is unable to turn on , please connect controller to the PlayStation and press the PS button " Which after I do that it then says I need to connect a storage device to my playstation (even though I have only used a tiny bit of storage) It gives me the option to press "OK" or "Cancel" and no matter what I press it takes me to the updating 24% screen and I repeat the process , I have removed the wires for a whole day , removed the plugs from the socket for a whole day and yet nothing works , is my playstation just fucked or should I just try to buy a storage device and see if it works

Awesome Video, TY!! Way better than this take it apart, unsolder it, BS. Oh, and to add - for me, it doesnt work on the same outlet initially. What I have to do is do everything you said, but when I turn it back on, is I plug it into a different outlet. Let it come up, then shut it down cleanly again. THEN I move it back to my entertainment center, and use the same plugs again. Fortuneately this has only happened to me twice so hopefully it wont happen and if it does, hopefully rare and this trick will always work. Thanks again!!
