It was charging fine up till the most recent update. (Using a wall charger because it stopped charging before) now recent I’ve plugged it back in the battery icon flashes with the green lightning bolt. My PS4 never gave me this much stress.

I have just had this problem . And managed to solve it . I clicked home button - controller accessories- clicked on the control - control settings - reset duel sense wireless controller . After that it started charging fine
