How to Fix Quick Access Not Working on Windows 11

Quick Access is a useful section in File Explorer that allows you to access your recent files and frequently used folders easily. However, there are times when Quick Access fails to display any of your files and folders or simply doesn’t open on Windows 11. Here's how to fix that.

I so regret "upgrading" to windows 11, been nothing but a PITA, wish I could use Linux at work at least major features aren't breaking with every update. I like Microsofts programming language but hate their OS. I have been trying to get my quick links back as I have a lot of important links and now I cannot find any of them and none of the fixes work. I hate MS OS's been crap the last few iterations

Windows 11 removed the Quick Access. So annoying.

Try this :) 1) Options> Privacy > Uncheck "show recommended section" 2) View > Show > Check Navigation Pane. 3) On the Navigation Pane: Desktop > Home > Right-click > Expand. Your pinned Quick Access folders should now show under "Home"

Sadly this didn't resolve the issue for me. But here's what I did: 1) Options> Privacy > Uncheck "show recommended section" 2) View > Show > Check Navigation Pane. 3) On the Navigation Pane: Desktop > Home > Right-click > Expand. Your pinned Quick Access folders should now show under "Home"

In the "File Explorer Options" Tab, Uncheck the "Show Recommended Section" Tab and you should be good to go
