If your ac blows hot it means u may need a new ac compressor when u change the fan switch the fans wont kick on unless the car is on full temperature idle

180 thermostat opens. 204 fans turn on. Sometimes the fans won't turn on due to low coolant levels.

1st -great video! THANKS!!! on my niece's 2004 civic , I checked relays -all good. Checked fuses-all good. Got both fans to run on with paper clip test. i replaced the sensor with one from the Honda Dealer and now neither fan works . retested with the clip and both fans still come on. but neither fan comes on when clipped back on to sensor. Are the fans for A/C & radiator separate? I know they sit side by side in same housing but if I need to replace only one fan can I just replace the broken fan or are they both connected & if I replace one I have to replace other? 2005 civic DX 1.7 SOHC

I have 2002 civic ex. When i reach highway speeds it stops overheating but when idling or moving with traffic it starts to overheat. Yes most likely u also have to let the car idle full temperature to make sure the fans work properly after u put the fan switch if ur ac dosent blow cold most likely u need a compressor
