Please explain the science on how the panels and grid hold/retains the earth and vice versa the panels themselves. Whether the grid which is connected to the panel is also connected to the panel on the otherside...whether the membranes last as long as the bridge or for how many years. Does the earth become so compacted that after, or if, the membrane denatures no more cavities are formed due to water run-off and percolation .
