I tried everything here to no avail, and then... After I made sure the cap was good and tight, I held the bottle high up in the air and tipped it a bit like I was going to pour it, all while the motor turned with nothing coming out of the wand. Then presto, it started working. After that, it continued to work without my holding it up in the air. Thanks for the tip to elevate the bottle!

I understand . my wand whether it is a battery operated or pump always clogs every time I use it. I have to soak it in hot water and run hot water through it. I even keep my wand head in a bottle of plain water so it does not dry out. My roundup always is cloudy and viscous. Is that how it is supposed to look?

Yup. Right there with you. Mine was bought less than six months ago and is nearly full. WTH they can't make it so we can clean it out is beyond me. Well, I guess it isn't. They probably design it to fail so we have to keep buying new ones. I even ran boiling water through it. Nope. And can you buy just the nozzle? Nope.

Success! Your tips are great but none worked. Brand new Roundup with power wand. So I unscrewed the cap but left it on loosely, then it started spraying. Maybe the tube was hung next to the wall of the container or touching on the bottom. Who knows, but it worked!

Thank you for making the video I'm ready to take a sledgehammer to this damn thing. First bottle was just water, some thief must've done some retail fraud crap. Second bottle must've had a hole in the hose per the clerk. And now I'm about to lose my mind on the third.

I put my cap into some water without the straw and got it to spray. When I put the straw back on it wont work. The straw is not clogged and it is secured firmly to the cap. What am I missing here?

Absolutely frustrating. Changed batteries in the Ortho weed killer wand 2 x Tested it in a cup of water. No kinks in the tubing Took it outside shook the container that was 1/4 full and held it @ R shoulder height Sprayer sprayed. Then I stopped. Once again followed the mechanics and it didn’t spray Waste of precious. Time spent unclogging tubing Always close sprayer when not using Anyway piss poor handle sprayer. Next time will pour solution into a pump sprayer. Reviews : less than one for sprayer function. Pls redesign if satisfied customers are important. Otherwise if ignored the bad customer relations & waste of precious dollars

After a couple hours of troubleshooting and nothing working I concluded there had to be a clog somewhere in the line (not in the tip). I cleaned the end of the hose off best I could and started sucking. I squeezed the trigger while I was sucking, maybe wasn't necessary but that's what I did. Sure enough after a minute or two a solid chunk of something came loose and shot into my mouth. I don't recommend it, and I'll probably die sooner now, but it did get the sprayer working.

The product is safe once you spray it. It dries quickly. Does not emit odors. Safer than house bombs. Or sprays where you have to leave the house. It’s better than anything I’ve used in the past.(and no I’m not paid by this product to do this video)

The battery might be Low, but first do this. 1. Open the lid and carefully pull out the top with the straw, holding it by the cap. 2. Hold it upside down and push the button of the comfor Wand to spray what’s left in the tube until it’s empty. 3. Before you put it back, look in the bottle to make sure you have enough in there for it to go into the tube, close the lid up and start spraying the one making sure that the container is way above the sprayer. This should work. If it does not, you have a clogged tip or a low battery. (make sure you watch the end of the video on how to test and see if the nozzle is clock by bending it in spraying ) Let me know how old is the bottle, if it’s brand new if you were sprayed before you may have a clogged tip. Boil some water and put it in a container carefully, then submerge the tip of your sprayer in there. If you have a rag or an old toothbrush, pull it out and scrub the tip. Let me know if that works. If you are able to solve it prior to reading this and let us know what you did so you can help others. Space I’ll pin your comment on the top of the video.

Please let us know what kind you bought and if it worked!! I used to like the "Illu-Mist," found at Walmart, but then realized of all the vital components, all were broken irretrievably, and some came that way. I don't mind paying for a decent sprayer, but how to find one??

So.. I have no kinks in the tubing, nothing is clogged, batteries changed, bottle above the sprayer in the beginning, but nothing happens Ortho has sent me 3 replacements already, and all of them eventually stop working after the 1st use.... I'm about to ask them for another one as the one they sent previously, is now..... broken again. I don't get it. Nothings clogged, motor is working, fresh batteries... Why do they keep selling this bullshit product? (It sucks because their product is effective when being able to properly use it when its working)

I totally agree. There’s only one comfort one that I’ve never being able to get to work again. But all the other ones usually work when I lift the bottle high. Some thing that I’ve had to do twice is, get a cup with warm water in a little bit of soap. Then put the tip of the comfort one in there for about two minutes. Then scrub it with a little brush, and that unclogged it. I hope that helps. If it doesn’t let me know if you figure out something else let this community know. Good luck keep us posted .
