OMG I have been going nuts trying to figure this out! I bought a new car and my cell phone carrier told me it was my car that needed a software update and I was about to take my vehicle back to the dealer until I came across this video! OMG! I had this connecting issue with all of my paired devices. It wouldn't go away no matter what I tried: restarting, updating, unpairing and repairing. Finally clearing the cache and storage for those 2 system apps did the trick along with a simple restart at the end. >_< Thank you! EDIT: doesn't work now. Worked temporarily.

This is hillarious. I've always had the Note series and never had issues with Bluetooth playback. Now that I switched to the S 23 Ultra I'm having continuous playback issues.

I know me too I've had all the notes since note 9, and now that I have the s23U my phone will connect to my cars bluetooth for calls only, but not media playback n its bothering the shit outta me

@@Str82Tay222 It's so damn annoying. I think i've narrowed the culprit down to the phone app, though. If I go into settings on my blutooth connection (the connection to the headset) and turn off "calls" so that only "media" and "contacts" are selected, I can go all day with no issues. But as soon as I turn "calls" back on, and receive a phone call (which always works fine over Bluetooth) the media stops working and I have to restart the device. I've tried all the tricks I can find online including resetting network settings and clearing cache and storage on my Bluetooth app. No joy.

First- thank you so much for this incredibly detailed video. I jsut got an s23+. Setup went more or less well. Smart switch tried to transfer the bluetooth settings, but it went through the old phone. So I had to unpair a device, and pair it directly. I was able to pair my Galaxy Watch 4, a bluetooth headset and my fitbit. I tried to connect to a Dell G5 5500- no success. I found Samsung's official video and tried everything,, and after doing the wireless reset, not only did it not help, it took multiple tries to connect my watch. I tried your suggestions except the developer options and firmware, including safe mode. Sometimes it won't pair at all. Other times it will pair but not connect. It gives the pairing messages on both the phone and the PC with the code, and when I agree with the second of the two requests (one on each device) I get unable to pair and/or unable to connect. I've maxed out on troubleshooting for now - before I try the developer option any thoughts? I'm really reluctant to flash my new-to-me phone (refurb). I wanted the connection so as to use Google's messages for web. I had forgotten that the pairing process was different- it is initiated throgh Google messages on the phone, and the instructions in the web page aren't accurate- they say to click on the account picture & it should be the three bars. That connected, and it's working. Further, in messages on the web, it says it is paired (using "pair" in a different way?) Regardless, messages in the web via windows does "pair" with messages on my phone. But I still can't actually make pairing between my phone and Windows PC happen, and they were previously paired.

Cool, thanks bro! Restarting phone would only fix the low/no audio issue for the first Bluetooth connection after the restart. Problem would return on subsequent Bluetooth connections until phone was restarted again. Resetting the network (second step) seems to have actually fixed it for me.. so far anyway

thanks for this walk thru. It helped resolve the connecting to Audio/Calls - it would make a buzz sound and drop. I found new headphones worked in safe mode. Traced it to an older head phone app. Works now. :)

it sounds like a 3rd-party app was stuck trying to access Bluetooth (which wasn't fixed until you booted into Safe Mode) good to see everything is working well again :)

I had issues about audio not working on Sony mdr-xb605bt headphones and my car Subaru Forester (2015), Sony wh-1000xm4 headphones worked all the time. When i connect s23 to Sony mdr-xb605bt headphone it also freezed KZbin streaming or Facebook Shorts. I booted my S23 phone as suggested in the video and audio started working on my Sony mdr-xb605bt headphone, not tested the car yet. Hopefully this bluetooth bug doesn't appear often in the future.

I have a s23 ultra , aukey ep-n5 . Mine pairs automatically, and sometimes they shut down and won't go to pair mode . I've Google if there was a way to manually pair on the ear buds themselves, and all I seen was how to automatically pair them . I don't think there an issue with my phone cause other near by devices pop up , just not mine . I'm assuming I have to manually put the ear buds in pairing mode

After a recent update, Bluetooth will not even turn on. It will work maybe 5 minutes after a reboot, but it then disables itself and you can not turn back on. Anyone have a fix for this?

Hey, i can you help me, a did evey step, and it doesn't work, i have s23 and galaxy watch 5, device connects normaly and stays connected, problem is when I'm trying to make a phone call, there's no sound from the watch, and no mic working, watch works on old p30 and watch 3 frontier also works but on p30 only the problem is s23, i have it for a month, and it didn't work from day 1. The only way i got it to work without factory resetting was by connecting to my pc first and then they connected to phone no problem and that was how i got the firmware update to work.

Thank you SOOOO much. This helped with a bad connection to my Windows 11 OS laptop which kept on saying it couldn't connect to my phone (PhoneLink worked but only for messages, apps, and photos... the dialer wouldn't work but now it does). This reset also got rid of a lot of unused bluetooths I had (transfered from my old S20). I've added this video to my "liked" videos in case this happens again.

I have a 2018 nissan frontier. With the s23+ and my old s10+ I have always had issues with my phones connecting to my truck. Couple times a week I will have to shut off my truck and restart it. My wife never has this problem with her iphone though.

Bluetooth will connect, work for anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes, then bluetooth shuts off and restarts. I have done everything except a factory reset. I've deleted just about every app that wasn't preloaded and I still have this issue. Really hoping the hard reset isn't what I need, as I have a LOT of pictures and files from my old phone that I don't want to lose.

@@ExplainingAndroid Pixel 7 pro nice. I think theres only 2 flagships to consider. The Pixel 7 pro has tons of features no other android has. My favorite is the voice typing. I wish every device had it. I can use it on my poco f3 android 12 rom built with pixel props. The call assistant loads up but I've tried it a million times and it will not work right. The s23 ultra and Pixel 7 pro are the only phones worth 1000 dollars. Problem is neither one can use viper4android on stock. The new reversed engineered viper made for 64-bit devices isnt finished and I fear they never will. They can't get gain feature to work and headphones surround sound.Which are the 2 main features for headphones it sucks. My Tab S8 plus is the same way no viper. Evolution x for the pixel 7 can get viper for Android but I don't know if you can keep the Google Assistant features the voice typing if you know let me know?

Google's voice typing is definitely incredible. They say it's because of the Tensor chip but I have my doubts. They also said that about things like Magic Eraser but that's become available on other devices as well The POCO F3 is a nice device, too. Incredible hardware for the price. I have the X3 here but haven't been able to do much content on it, sadly. I can look into getting call assistant on non-Google devices if you think that is something you'd be interested in. It feels like people have been waiting on that new viper update forever. I tried testing the Evolution X ROM but XDA's instructions (at the time I last checked) were incorrect and resulted in an error at the format data phase. I would continue trying but when I asked for help in the Telegram channel I was accused of trolling and lying. I don't know if I can create content on a ROM like that where the people who maintain it are just going to harass people who are asking for help
