Thank you for a very nice video . This is the first video I've watched ,that is very informative and you explained the process and the components. The last five videos I attempted to watch ; only music played and there wasn't any explanation of the process . I changed a charge port on the Note 3 , without any issues. As I thought , this process is similar on the Note 8 . Thank you again.

Hello, Naya! if you change the charging connector, it has nothing to do with the future functioning of the motherboard

I'm stuck.. Can't get the back cover off. How much heat? Does it have to be hot enough to boil water? I heat it to the point where it is too hot to touch.. still can't get an opening for the metal tool. Thanks!

My note 8 doesn't charge wirelessly or wired , what do you think , is it the battery problem

What's the name of the wireless charger thing? 😬

its in the description
@zigfaust2 жыл бұрын
@@fazzy8388 It's actually not. The name of it is a N950U Charging Port. At least if you have a US version of the note 8. Although they seem to all be compatable.

If you are reading this before watching the video, do yourself a favour and find another tutorial. This teardown is not done properly and introduces unnecessary risk. If one of my technicians used these techniques they would be looking for a new job.

Why should anyone believe you? Do you have any tutorials showing how it should be done better or even a comment mentioning the problems with this video? She seems to do it quickly and efficiently in the video.

Now that you've criticized, what is the correct way?
@nickpanacci3055 Жыл бұрын
@@christophecash6275 To start, don't blast it with a heat gun or ever use a metal sesamo to break the adhesive. Her "professional screwdriver" is not a torx driver, and her tweezers are mot ESD compliant. That's just the first 30 seconds.
