Update: Just found out today that it might be better to set the always on display to "Show Always". In this mode, you don't need to tap the screen anymore before putting your fingerprint. If you wake the phone up and unlock it using this method, the lines do not show up. If you lock it again and wake it up using the power or home button, the lines appear again. I like this workaround while #samsung puts a fix out.

One thing that worked for me "today" is turn off the power saving and use it at "high performance" , i don't know if this problem going to happen again. I suggest try it out!!

Wow that's crazy. It works! Not only that, seemed like it color corrected too. The colors are now better and doesnt have that weird warm green tinge (even when I'm not in blue filter mode). Glad this is just a software issue.

Before i start this video i would like to comment first base on my experience. I hope you will notice me here. So its 2021 now, my phone is not that old. My dad gave me a Samsung S20 Plus as a gift because my old samsung s8 which was been with me for 3yrs more and it has a lot of issues so my dad gave me a new phone. This samsung s20 plus been with me still 9 months and the screen starts to flicker and there are lines. I was so worried because i didn't drop my phone or sat on it. It just starts flickering when it wants to. I thought my phone was been hacked or there is virus. I just installed an anti malware app. It says there is no issues. So i came here. It started very suddenly for me.. randomly when I plugged in my headphones while watching youtube. I almost have no idea if it is hardware or software. But the safe-mode doesn't help. I haven't reset the device yet (and probably will not in a while). It looks like many people who use Galaxy have same or similar issue.
