If none of these steps work, try taking an AUX cord, plugging it in and see if it will let you shut off the screen. If it works, cut it short to a little stub, and plug that stub back in.

This won't work for 99.99% of people, and the fact it worked for you is pure fluke. If there was ever going to be a menu section that achieved anything for this issue it would not be in the USB notifications menu tree, but in the display options whereby you would instruct your phone not to wake up when anything is plugged into the USB, however, no such option exists... The overlying issue stems from degradation of the soldering on the USB charge board from even the slightest amount of corrosion across the solder points. The only way to prevent it occurring is to run a voltage over the board by plugging in the USB-C cable, but this is obviously not feasible when you want to leave your house, as such, the only permanant fix is getting a new charge board installed in your phone. The issue is most common in the Samsung A-series, and replacement boards from third party manufacturers will suffer the same fate within just a few months of installation. It is a combination of poor quality control along with planned obsolescence that causes this issue and it is completely and utterly unavoidable for anyone who has the ability to make their Samsung device last more than 36 months.

I had both constant notifications saying "connected, disconnected" and also superfast charging had stopped working. Only slow, and only on a different cable that was about 2 in. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Jesus Christ! I went through all of these steps and it still didn't work, not for long anyways. It's gone back to not working again BUT. I did find a work around that likely, hopefully, will work for all of you if none of these work. I noticed with my headphones plugged in, the power button to turn the screen off function over rides the bug of not turning the screen off. So I took an old AUX cord. I cut the end off so it's just a short stub, plugged it in, and so far it's been working. I can shut the screen off. It still flashes the error on my phone when I'm using it, but it totally overrides the aspect of the bug not allowing the screen to turn off. I hope it continues to work.

Here's a solution that worked for me- 1. Go to 'settings' 2. Search 'USBSettings' (I heard some people dont have this option so dont know about that) 3. Go to its storage 4. 'Clear Cache' & then 'Clear Data' 5. If it still doesnt solve, then click 'Force Stop' And it should go away, didnt have to restart or anything

So my problem is that when I try to connect a USB stick, otherwise works ok with the charger. I connect the stick to my A12 with no problem, but when I try to connect to my A23, this problem always appears and can't connect, tried these steps but doesn't help. Any idea why it's happening? Thanks

The problem is not the charger at all.....its about the extension you are using to charge your device........
