Thank you for posting this video. My son had this problem with his Suburban. His passenger side back door would not open. He took it to a few shops and they wanted to cut the door open. They did not want to go that route and decided to live with it. He had to load the kids into the car from the driver side back door. They lived with this issue for over a year. I visited them for Thanksgiving a week or so ago, when I realized they had that problem. I took it upon myself to remedy this situation. I watched a lot of KZbin videos trying to get this door to open. I tried just about everything I watched and none of them worked. On day three of working on this, I was about to throw in the towel then I stumbled across your video and I immediately knew this is the answer I was looking for. No more than 10 minutes later, I had the door opened. They were so happy. They couldn't stop looking at their suburban with the door opened. They felt like they had a new car. Most of the quarrels the children had was because they all had to load in through one door. Thanks for making me look like a hero but in actuality, you are the hero. Unfortunately, they now think I can fix anything so they are working on a to do list of issues they have around the house for me to take care of the next time a visit.

Thank you for explaining how it all works in junction with each other! Have the same issue with my '97 4runner driver's door! I was just thinking that it must be out of time and there you are! 👍🙏😊

I was just about to throw in the towel and take in to a shop, but this made them both open (both rear doors). Thank you, bro.
