How to fix the buttons in your Panasonic cordless phone KX TG2235b

Good job. I received my 2 repair pads for KX-TGA106 today and these old phones minus the scratches are like new after I did the easy install. We really appreciate you saving these phones and keeping us from having to buy new ones.

I opened my Panasonic cordless phone and there's an oily substance on the board that prevents the membrane from making contact. I've cleaned it with alcohol and the handset works well for a while, but eventually the problem returns after some time. Not sure what the problem is.

Thank you! My keys are clean! I might order the mix and match membranes since I have a different Panasonic phone. Sadly, I did accidentally tear out one of the speakerphone wires. But I will get to a soldering iron soon and reattach it.

I've got the Panasonic KX-TGA101CS '3 phone set' and on the phone I use the most, the 0 button has become extremely difficult to press. Will cleaning it alone fix the problem, or do I need to replace anything?

Cleaning alone is always temporary. That is why I made these membrane keypads. I have been repairing push-button phones since 1992 and cleaning alone was a guaranteed warranty repair.

That part is the base. The cordless handsets start with KX-TGA and have 3 numbers only. Usually you can find the part number on the bottom edge of the handset but sometimes you have to look under the battery, jsut don't get the model number confused with FCC number. The FCC number can be anything but may also include KX-TG(something)
