This video shows how to fix the loose and worn-out AC vents on your Lamborghini Gallardo. This DIY works for all years of the Lamborghini Gallardo from 2004-2014. Using some simple nylon washers and duct tape, your vents will be better than new ones!

yup, just like u did, had the dental picks already....the far passenger vent was so loose it would spin freely just looking at it, lol....that fix made them all just perfect buddy!

Great video as usual I have loose vents so I'm going to go ahead and do mine just like you showed me and by the way I lost my passenger side exhaust tip and Grill and you're right they are not cheap so now along with the idea for the active vents I think I have to look into fabricating my own hexagon mesh grill with exhaust tips

Great video , a new tape you should buy and use is made for this , its TESA fuzzy tape , made for interior rub points and harness wrap to help with rattles.

@@TheBullRider correct , most oems use it. Easily available on amazon , you should get tesa fuzzy tape and tesa high temp harness tape for loom repairs. Both oem grade and look

Pete, I think once you remove the vents, there are additional little tabs in there for the trim too! I like the shiny part though, I polished mine so it blinds me more now I guess LOL!

Oh noooo don't use that tape. The sticky part will delayer from the plastic part in half a year and you gonna be left with a sticky mess. A few layers of transparent packing tape will be a much better option

I was thinking about that Aye and I thought about your specific concern regarding the adhesive layer of the duct tape getting sticky over time. With packing tape I was worried about it delaminating over time and jamming in there. The soft touch material has a weird surface finish that wouldn't bond to packing tape or masking that well. Kind of hard to pick an adhesive tape that is the best of both worlds for this application. In a few years I hope I don't have that much of a sticky mess on my hands! haha :(
