From what I've learned from the reusable pad community, hot water is the devil for any blood stain, cooks the proteins or something, so always cold and I've found a scoop or a half depending on the load size of oxy bleach for fabrics (vanish oxy is fine but I've not seen any difference compared to the supermarket own brand and you get twice the amount for cheaper) I'd never have thought to use double sided tape! so genius! everything puckers when I try pins on most things. Thank you for making such handy, well explained videos!

Yes I am always unsure wether hot or cold water is better, but I'll keep this mind for next time to use cold water! And thank you for the kind words! I learnt the double sided tape trick from a leather shop I used to work at! It's a lifesaver when working with tricky fabrics :)

Thank you so much for this tutorial. My late grandma used to sew my torn pajamas even though I never demanded her to fix it hahahaha but since she's already gone, it's me who is gonna sew my torn pajamas😊

I'm so glad to hear I've inspired you. It's handy to know some little tricks here and there in fixing torn clothes I find, giving the garment a second life is always good :)

If you use peroxide before laundering this will remove most of the blood stains. Then wash in cold water with regular detergent to remove the residual. Do not dry the clothing until the stains are removed or they will never come out.

This is really creative and well done, looks great and is good for the environment. Way to go and inspire us and show us how it's done too. Thank you for making my day brighter and the world a better place, for serious!!! I am curious to get into making my own clothes and it's helpful to see -- I get how using other existing garments to figure out the shapes makes sense and how it can be done now!

Hydrogen peroxide directly on it before you wash will totally get rid of blood stains for future reference.
