Hello , Your video saved me a lot of money. It was right on time. I was able to follow your steps one by one and could clear those engine and AWD messages . Similar to your situation, I still have the tire pressure issue, but after filling till 32.5 psi (shown on the video) I still have that message - but don’t worry as you said , this is not a big problem. I drove down to Chesapeake Virgina this past weekend and while returning to Atlanta, it was raining heavily and then I got to Atlanta I saw a check engine light come on with AWD system Check and one other light that comes out during snow. I used the steps provided here and it worked just fine for me. All the lights are gone. Big thanks to you sir for uploading this video.

Just to update you. This is only temporary fixed, the issue went back after driving 25 miles. I did scanned and found out i had bad spark plug and coils. I replaced all my spark plugs and the coils because it also due for replacement.

Thank you, just had this problem; 145000 miles, the morning of starting 500 mile trip to return home. Just had rear brake job, may have triggered sensor, checked everything I could see before I left. Did not feel anything was wrong and felt like it was a sensor warning more than actual mechanical failure. Drove the 450 miles with no problem.

It doesn’t work like that, since you have disconnected the battery you don’t see check engine and check awd lights. But after driving 30 or so miles they will be back.

I did on my Highlander and it worked but it works for only 20 miles or so it only works to shut off any light on dashboard but it will come back again I will not do that again you can mess up some other components of your vehicle

Me too light engine back and while driving when it came back the engine was dragging. I stopped for a while and drive slowly until i got home. Did the reset and hoping it will come back after 25 miles.

It works on every car if you disconnect the battery..it resets the codes and warning lights on dash disappeared..BUT the lights will comes back on again if you don't solve the problem cos the sensor will pick it up again✌🏾

This has happened to me a few times. Do not just keep doing this. It's a temporary fix in some cases check the codes. I replaced my O2 sensors as I was getting two error codes for it.

You just disconnect the negative terminal..then lights will go away..thats how you reset every warning lights..if you don'thave a scan tool to erase code..but it will comes back on again if you don't fix the problem😁

This just reset ECM DTC and is the same thing as plug in a $10 scanner to clear DTC codes. If you have a CEL there's definitely something wrong with your car and if you continue driving it which likely will cause greater damage.

Lol. Dont do this. You can mess up your electronics. The lights come on for a reason. Read the code and fix it. Dont have to go to dealership. Find a reliable mechanic . Yes they are out there and will do work for half of what the dummys at the dealership will charge you.

So we had a Toyota dealership read the codes and they ran so many test and couldn’t find anything that needed to be fixed they even refunded us. But the Check engine light and AWD warning still pops up
