How to fix UniFi AP not showing up for adoption

Just a quick heads up. If the command from the cli doesn't work. It is most likely your PC firewall blocking port 8080. Create a windows firewall rule to allow that port and also check Antivirus firewall as well. You can remove those rules after. Cheers

I'm trying to adopt a unify access point but in my scenario, I am not using DHCP IP It says adoption failed i know it is supposed to take DHCP IP the first time while configuring but I don't have DHCP IP is there any way I can set static IP and configure it?

Have you tried hard reset few times? Sometimes it works after few tries. Good luck.

Reset button not working i pressed it for 10 seconds +

Try rebooting/power cycling the device few times and then pressing the reset button for 10 seconds again.

@NetITGeeks kept doing it, didn't work. Apparently, it is a firmware issue, not even accepting DFU mode. Sent to warranty
