How to fix Vespa Mirrors Stuck, Seized or Loose

Any modern Vespa like the Primavera or Sprint will end up with stuck, seized or loose mirrors at the ball joint. This is how to fix them without having to buy new ones. I'm assuming you know how to take them off but if you need a guide on that please let me know in the comments below.

Thanks for this.! I have a loose mirror on my LX150 and every tutorial video out there is about tightening the stem, not tightening the ball joint. Really appreciate it. I noticed you don't seem to have the rubber gasket that goes around the outside edge of the mirror. Did you remove it or was it missing to begin with?

My mirrors do not have the rubber gasket. I don't think they are missing, they look like this by design. I suspect you will have a similar problem, the big unknown to me was how to reach the mechanism inside and the key enabler was to know it was glued with hot glue.
