My problem: I can't press "Start Game", because the launcher closes and reopens a second later. The fix: Add Wuthering Waves as an exception in your AntiVirus. I use Fsecure, and the moment I added Wuwa as an exception the problem was solved. Try this as an AntiVirus acts up more often than you think.

i can open the launcher but when i press start it closes the launcher and reopens it a second after

For me, it downloads and installs the game and I get to play. But everytime I come back from work and open the game the launcher doesn’t open right away, then a min or so later I get “this short cut has been moved elsewhere, would you like to delete” then deletes the freaking game for me. I think the application is corrupted

same here, tried download the "windows" version. got your problem, uninstalled the game and tried via Epic game store and now it just shuts down the launcher after clicking Start

same! I just clicked the repair thing on the upper right side of the launcher to get it fixed

@@Sophie-Kiv no solution has been released so far, at that I know of but I triewd getting Punishing Gray Raven, also a game from Kuro and that runs fine, no problem so the issue is from Wuthering Waves Launcher/Login

i downloaded the launcher from their web but when it loads and all and my MC's animation goes on, i can't play further without a window appearing that basically tells me the game crashed and that it'll go back to the menu.

hey! so for me i can’t even download the game on the launcher without the launcher closing itself when it hits 30% downloaded and restarting the progress (i’ve tried this with both the website and epic games) i’ve made sure i have enough space to download the game so i know that’s not the issue here i’ve tried going into the files on epic games launcher and running it as administrator but that does not fix the issue. i’ve also tried making sure any anti virus softwares that could be disrupting things are closed but that doesn’t help it either :/ i’ve been trying to even just download this game and can’t even successfully do so, i’ve been trying this all day and feel like giving up do you think they will fix this issue soon? i’m really upset i can’t play

After following this tutorial, app tries to open. It is stuck on the KRInstallExternal process. Update: GPU drivers updated now game launches to the start screen but recycles in a loop to the start screen and never opens.

Hey tech How. Sorry that your comment section is now the pit of complaints from everyone, but this is honestly ridiculous. I want to play the game and want to see it succeed. But the constant crashes and inability to play is very frustrating. To top it off. There is no controller support for mobile yet, despite it being a mobile game. And yes I do think controller support is NECESSARY in order to execute high level combat. Touch inputs do not cut it. I’ve played extensively and honestly am not a fan. Again. Sorry about the complaining. Kuro really dropped the ball on a few things to say the least. I still think it’s a decent game, and your video probably did help hundreds of people.

The launcher.exe has very poorly optimized graphics, do not use that executable.
