How to Fix Xbox Controller Won't Sync and Blinking Lights (Easy Method!)

Xbox controller won't sync, pair, or connect to your Xbox Series S or Xbox Series S and the lights are blinking? In this video, I show you how to fix your Xbox when your Xbox Series S/X controller won't connect or sync to your Xbox. Knowing how to connect your Xbox controller to your Xbox will enable you to sync/pair new controllers easily.
You can pair your Xbox controller to your Xbox Series S or X by taking out the batteries from the controller, and trying to connect by pressing the sync button on your console, followed by pressing the sync button on your controller. If you're still unable to sync your controller to your Xbox, we're going to power-cycle the console. After power-cycling your Xbox, we're going to try and connect again using the sync button on your Xbox and controller.
If your Xbox controller still isn't connecting, I recommend you power-cycle your Xbox Series S/X and try the steps again to connect your new controller!

Thanks Chad. I’m not smart on electronic things. My son bought me the xbox, set it up didn’t teach me anything and then moved to another state. If it wasn’t for your help I would have thrown out the xbox that quit working on me weeks ago…my device is now back and working again. Had the same exact issue and I didn’t think this was gonna work🤣🤣. Hold ur power button on ur xbox till It cycles. Then unplug it out the outlet turn it back on only the Xbox. After that hit the sync on the Xbox first then on the then on the controller. Should connect right away

Try holding the xbox button on the console for 10 seconds then take out the power cord and wait another 5 to 30 seconds. Plug and turn on your xbox. Now turn on your controller.
