I had some difficulties, here my little hints: - I had to change several IMG and the one that workd for me is EEA Global. - I had to change the directory where I initially installed ADB tools because the script didn't work correctly on c:..program files etc.. Now My cell is rebooting waiting for the result.

sadly no. without it being unlocked, we can't follow this video. however, you can try to reboot into RECOVERY MODE, and then from there, do a FACTORY DATA RESET. that will hopefully get your android firmware back to a working state

Called my tech guy for help and he said at first it might got some water in the charging port which is impossible since it's always in my bag and i only use it for mobile banking. you have to hold down the SHIFT button on the keyboard and THEN right click in a folder

this sounds like your bootloader is locked, so this video won't really help you. I could recommend booting the phone into RECOVERY mode and then trying the factory data reset option in an attempt to get Android up and running again

I use Redmi Note 8 like you and have the same error before. I flash Global ROM but it can't, so I must flash China ROM and it's ok because my phone is Chinese version. Can I ask your phone is China version or Global version? I see you flash Global Rom. Thank you!

Hi there, I am upto the 5th step where you copy and paste the image files to the "platform tools". I don't have a folder like that even though i downloaded the "Minimal ADB Fastboot v1.4.3" from the video that you suggested in the description. I am very new to this so I apologise in advance for any mishap

no, you need to have the bootloader unlocked before this video will work. instead, watch the video as I mention EDL mode needed for locked bootloaders
