How to Flash EDL Firmware on OnePlus via Oppo Flash Tool

In this video, we will show you the steps to flash the EDL firmware on your OnePlus device using the Oppo Flash Tool. You can use the steps shown here to unbrick your device, fix bootloop issues, downgrade to older OS, or revert to stock OxygenOS/ColorOS from any custom ROM.
Do note that the steps shown here are only applicable on OnePlus 11 and devices released after that. Till OnePlus 9 series, you'll have to use the MSM Download Tool to flash this firmware whereas OnePlus 10 series doesn't have any working tweak till now.

As of now, Poco F5 [if you can get it shipped with MIUI and not HyperOS]. Apart from that, OnePlus 11 is also a great option. In case of Pixel, unlocking is quite easy, and so is rooting but the custom ROMs are usually limited.

OnePlus bootloader can easily be unlocked simply via fastboot flashing unlock. Moroever, now that we have the Oppo Flash Tool for devices like 11 and 12R, trying out tweaks has become even more easier.

As of now, it is compatible with OnePlus 12R but not yet with the 12 variant. With that said, once I gwet hold on a OnePlus 12, I'll try to find a workaround to make it work via some Hex Editing tweaks.

This is strange, I have tried quite a few times and never faced this issue. I will recommend you turn off Windows Defender and Firewall and then try the process once again [use tool version 5.5.5].

On second thought, the culprit might be the device as well because I have personally tested this tool on OnePlus 12R and it is working but havent done so on OnePlus 12. So it might be that the tool is currently not compatible with your device.
