I ordered this and got it to America in 11 days! Works beautifully! I have been doing all of my shelly devices using mgos2tasmota and then writing the firmware to esphome after that. It wasn't that big of a deal until I got a Shelly Plus 2PM and there is an error with that model when trying to overwrite the Tasmota with ESPhome. Now, I would do all of them this way. Much, much faster to flash esphome directly!

For the most up to date compatibility information please check the information on the product page voltlog.com/y/voltlink. You will find a list with devices that have been confirmed compatible in a plug&play mode. Additionally since the VoltLink is a usb>serial adapter, you can flash any serial device, however that might require extra work on your side, it won't be plug&play.

Hello, in June last year I ordered one of your serial adapters, an older version, I didn't use it until today, flashed 1 shelly plus i4, 1 shelly plus 1 pm and 3 shelly plus 1 with it and didn't have a problem, maybe a small problem and that is that my version of the serial adapter only supports 100mA, so when starting tasmota I get brownouts. I soldered a 1.27mm pin pitch header myself for it. however I also have 2 shelly 2.5 and I can't flash them, the serial port does not appear. Is there anything I should do, change ? Video I saw was #356!

I have a shelly 2.5 on my bench, I can flash it reliable every single time with VoltLink revC. I did encounter some issues with the shelly EM failing to flash intermittently but I haven't investigated that further. In you case, if the serial port does not appear, it means there might be an over-current event, which will eventually destroy the VoltLink as in the first revisions it was using the internal regulator, only rated for up to 100mA.

@@voltlog Well mine is a RevA, so I can't use it for the shelly's then I guess?

I ordered a new one + shelly cable

@@DirkTas It is recommended to avoid connecting the VoltLink revA to devices that need more than 100mA as that will stress the internal regulator to a point where it might get damaged.

I went to order the voltlink today and noticed that there is an option for one or two shelly adapters. Why would you buy two? I am asking out of ignorance so please don't take this as a criticism.

@@voltlog OK. Thanks. I figured that was probably it, but just wanted to check.
