I am trying to flash t-mobile rom to Verizon S7 and everything flashes and works but gets stuck in boot loop or opens to the recovery mode. Any help would be great appreciated.

Also, when I am in recovery mode I get the message: #fail to open recovery_cause(no such file or directory)# #Reboot recovery cause is [UKNOWN]# No support single-sku File-based OTA Supported API: 3 Dm-verity verification failed... What did I do wrong? When after flashing, the phone restarted then went into the "installing updates" blue screen but no updates installed. And in download mode it shows that it says "SM-G930T" instead of "SM-G930V" like it used to, so it halfway worked but I am stuck in the loop where it shows the Samsung screen over and over again.

Well, I have followed your video step by step, and now device asks me for PIN to decrypt data. (Your video 5:52) When I enter 0000 It continuously asks me to enter it again... I want to change from H3G to BTU (or VOD). Not a country change but a carrier change. Android version to stay the same too (6.0.1). So would I use HOME_CSC in this case. And if I do not select 'Re-Partition' would my data remain. Having my phone wiped wouldn't be a big deal but I'd rather not.

For anyone reading this use the regular CSC, not the Home CSC. I wasted 20 minutes in this process following the video author's steps and all it led me was to a FAIL. If you are following these flash videos more than likely you are fine with your device's data getting wiped. If not, use Samsung Smart Switch to perform a phone back up before proceeding with this. The Regular CSC contains the needed PIT file to partition and wipe the device's storage to install the new firmware. Otherwise you will get a FAIL from Odin and your device will report there is not enough disk space. So use the regular CSC file not HOME.

Who's carrier (ATT, Sprint, Verizon, T-mobile) branded phone is it, or is it a OEM (Samsung.com) phone? The only reason I flashed my AT&T phone was because I am a T-mobile user and although the phone function unlocked by AT&T for my T-Mobile service, I couldn't get some special features provided from T-mobile, so I used a stock T-mobile rom for the S7 Edge to flash my AT&T phone. Effectively making it a T-Mobile phone with T-mobile service.

hey mate. Odin isn't picking up on the connected s7. I have updated drivers, tried different cables, etc. The phone is actually charging via the usb connected to the pc so obviously theres power, but yet Odin doesn't recognise it, the phone just sits in odin mode doing nothing. Ok thanks, ya I have found "stock" firmware but it doesnt work... I had to restore my phone bc it was stuck in a bootloop from the root so now im just stuck with the custom rom used to root the phone, but not rooted. Have you been able to update your phone normally when you fixed it?

Well firstly it depends on which phone you have. A global Enyxos processor or the US Snapdragon processor. The US version doesn't allow you to flash a custom ROM. You can flash mods to the stock ROM, such as the engboot file used to root the device. But you can't, say, flash CyanogenMod to the US version. But to answer your question, yes. That XDA post had links to the US Unlocked firmware (SM-G935U) and the ATT S7 Edge (SM-G935A). So yea right now I'm running the SM-G935U firmware with no issues and no carrier bloat. Updates just like normal, too.

What you mean where you can find the software? you mean the Firmware? if so just look up on gsmarena for the model of the EU version or just google woul prolly do, then go on sammobile and download the firmware of that EU model you just found out, then flash it. I said that for general knowledge when you wanna know a phone model number. Eu models are SM-G930F for S7 and SM-G935F for S7 Edge(Edge OS got some Edge features on the screen so its a lil different OS, also its written on startup logo "Edge" , the rest is the same though)
