Finally a trick I don't need to learn. First scuff trick I learned back in 87. First guy I saw do it never did a scuff-glide-scuff, his foot never glided, he scuffed the whole time with the foot never more than 2 inches before he pulled his foot back to scuff again. Having no videos, we only saw pictures to learn tricks, so we thought that was how it was done; like a machine gun foot scuff. We all had to unlearn that method when we saw GT/Dyno tour riders doing it the "right" way. This is the first trick I teach riders who want to learn scuffing; it is easier to control than even a front yard, because it limits your foot scuff length.

Love it! Interesting about the guy that you used to watch doing his own thing with scuffing. Could it have been slick tyres? I know that if I ride on bald tyres it's like you say ''machine gun scuff''. But anyways thanks for your comment and this history of what it was like!
