@mikooooooooooooo5 жыл бұрын
I have 2-3 videos on this trick, however if you message me with some clips of you trying time machines I can help you. The carve transition is super important, when you get that smoothly, you can spin it easy. Try learning lung spins first, they will teach you how to lock into a back wheel spin

i'm 40 this year and i do rocket manuals to keep fit, i do them one handed/with the wheel sideways at 90 degrees i love doing a one handed landing pushing the bike down with the pedal too. i also do a no handed stall by bringing the bike up and dragging my toe behind me, putting my arms out to the side like jesus, doing a combo of all three in a run is a buzz, start with christ, then the one hander then maybe end with a full bar spin, nice low impact stuff and i've only fallen 3 times in about 8 or 9 years. try a rocket with the bike upside down holding the front pegs instead of the handlebars, thats some hairy stuff there! watch your seat on the floor!

When im going in a tight circle and i pull the handle bars to my chest my bike does a turbine but then i lose balance. Am i doing it correctly
@mikooooooooooooo5 жыл бұрын
Keep practicing! sounds like you're figuring it out, if you can get the bike to turn backwards all it will take to go back forwards is controlling the momentum with your free leg & changing the leaning direction of the bike with your arms.

@@mikooooooooooooo Cheers Mik! Also, how long does it usually take to a trick? How often, how long, and over what period (e.g. 45min/day for 2 months) would you say is a reasonable amount of time to learn the peg wheelie and be able to spin it? Or any other trick for that matter. Cheers!

Sorry I'm just getting to all my comments now! It all depends on the trick really, some take longer and some not. But beginner tricks I think is the first time your brain will be getting familiar with these new balance points and movement patterns on a bike, so it might take a little longer if youve never done something like this (however if you have experience with sports then that will make the process a little quicker). Also, everyone is different, and everyone's process is different. What might have taken me a month to learn you might get in a week. It's all about how much time you put in and how much you practice an individual move. But to give you some guidelines, practice single tricks anywhere from 30 mins to an hour a day, and with each day you will notice little results, epiphanies that will help you understand what you need to do differently. It's only a matter of time and practice before you get it. Just never lose faith that you can do it! To paraphrase my friend Malte Orth "you finally land a trick when you truly believe you can do it" and that comes with, you guessed it, practice 🚲

People are making fun of me everytike i fakk down during my practise they say im learning how to be a circus but i dont let them get to me i just keep on practising flatland and one day ill show them mountain bike riders what flatland is
@mikooooooooooooo3 жыл бұрын
A lot of riders dreams is to ride in a circus or on a cruise ship, it's a cool gig I think. They're just jealous you're doing something productive with your time, the years will pass and you'll continue improving, while they will look from the sidelines and wonder why they're not. Keep believing in yourself and prove them all wrong! What's important is that you're having fun and enjoying life, whatever they say doesn't matter :)
