I think the simplest tip for beginner Blights, is to be patient, don't be afraid to use one more bump to guarantee a better angle to get that hit

I've been trying to learn Blight for a while now and I was struggling quite a lot with the 90° Flicks and watching your guide has helped Immensely. some custom games with Bots I've been able to pull of the Flicks about 80% of the time and still improving. As a console blight main, I had the same experience. But you just have to keep practicing and eventually, you’ll get the hang of it. For me, I bought blight days after his chapter was released because I had to save up shards. The first game he was a pain to play but that’s because that was the first time I was playing as him. But after a little while, I started to get the hang of him. And now, a year and a couple of months later, I’m a decent blight player that gets 2-4k’s every match.

literally one day before this video came out, i started learning blight. i watched your previous guides but still found myself struggling with the flicks a lot. you saying at the very start that you have to turn a bit BEFORE hitting the attack button was a game changer for me. i'm now three days into blight and i genuinely don't think i've lost more than one or two games. the worst i've done is a 2k. blight is extremely fun but i'm not sure how well i'd be doing if it wasn't for Lilith's guides. so thank you fellow gamer, i love the guides and just the gameplay in general has been very entertaining to watch. take care

My main question in all of this is probably mouse movement in details. I see that you have a CAMERA for it, but it’s sometimes too small to see clearly😭

For a 180, you're basically moving your mouse in a V shape. Having a high DPI or a large mousepad helps, but they aren't needed.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as I understood in my games, turning camera is limited like some degrees per second. Binding turning to keyboard buttons allows you to get maximum turn per single button press. 90 flick is just M1 after maximum turn + keep turning. 90 flick becomes Q/E - micro pause - M1. 180 flick requires pre-turn, so Q/E - micro pause for max turn (and look down to avoid collision) - Q/E - micro pause - M1. Idk if that's the real logic behind this, but it works for me. Yet I still lack bump logic @_@

And yet here everything depends on muscle memory and subconsciousness, which comes with practice. And yes, beginners, do not worry if you missed the survivor when he spun, that's fine, you will become less likely with practice, even lilith sometimes misses. Thanks for the guide!

Started using blight about 4 days ago, instantly got to iridescent 2 with him, this killer is easily the killer I picked up the absolute fastest. He fits my playstyle perfectly and I honestly haven't found a single difficult thing about him other than missing hits the first day cause of the zig zags, other than that I think blight is pretty simple and insanely fun to use. I would totally recommend, 10/10.

1:06 I always thought my flicks were just a bit off and only just realised I was turning and moving before swinging so instead of turning 90 degrees I would either do it way slower or would only turn a little bit

I think what nobody tells you and what took me sadly *WAY* too long to realize it's if you're already at blights max rush turn rate you will still swing super wide. The flick only works if you're going relatively straight and therefore can actually use the turn. It took me forever to figure that out. Right before you want to attack you turn the direction you want to flick both movement stick and direction then attack seems simple on console but you'd be surprised how bad I am at blight. I think Lilith is the first person to say it that I know of.
