Dear Soma, Very well explained. Usually we have seen that the AC mechanics use refrigerator compressor as a vacuum or pressure pump. I have seen first time compressor rotary compressor being used for the same purpose. Can you advise if it is better to use than refrigerator compressor since it will have very high pressure comparing with refrigerator compressor. Thanks

for flushing we can use AC rotary compressor coz of high pressure. but we can't use for vacuum with in 2 mins it will start rattling and may burn the winding.due to overheat.

When you check for leaks using old compressor you pressure the system with air inside the compressor until the gauge reads full level and then close the gauge valve. This is done while the original compressor is not switched on only your own compressor being switched on right. Can u pls just elaborate also for me here. In full detail please.

check door seal at all sides of the fridge. if there will be gap in door seal. then frost will build quickly.

There was a gap of about 4 inches in the door seal as gasket is compressed at that place. I stuck a foam strip there using v- bond solution.. . Now the frost formation is reduced by 50%. But it is not gone away completely. What should be done?......
