Haha yes they are so awesome. I was expecting way less. It turns out to be a great flier and easy for new RC pilots. And handles some wind.

@Drone Camps RC How does this Mini Cessna compare to the Volantex Sport Cub 500? Which would be a better choice for a beginner?

Thanks for the review; I enjoyed being an old fix wing pilot (single-engine land) and flew RC fix wings many years ago. that looks like a possibility for re-induction to fly again CAVU Fly Fun, Fly Safe, Just Fly!

Okay, that sounded like you dubbed in a B-17 with the Insta360 footage. Too much invested with FPV and a foamy would probably not last long in the truck, always moving and working. Great flight though, loved the video Justin.

It did sound like it was dubbed in. But weirdly it’s not.

Thanks brother, learned how to fly hands on, in cockpit before rc still struggling with RC, and I'm old school, been in love with RC Since I was 8 years old. Now the instructions are so deceptive, having a hard time, DX 7 is the last instructions promoted in print, that I am aware of. Need Radiomaster full experience, Can you help, I like hands on.

WOW I once upon a time had a couple cox easy bees too! My first plane was a cox American Eagle. Then it was the Eagle2, Then the sihlouette and easy bees. Just ordered one of these cessna from banggood. I was watching your vid and noticed that you said when you use to fly nitro planes. I can remember when i use to laugh at electric planes.. They never flew.

Hi Justin Great video and review of the Eachine Cessna RTF. I just can't believe what is outthere, Back when I started you spent all winter building a kit and flying it all summer long. And forget gyros or pilot assist. I was about to say that I prefer some dihedral for beginners but now with everything they come with all you need is a little knowledge about flight and your off. Thanks again for the video and information.

Wow... you gave me a severe flashback to my childhood. Man, I also had an EZbee... that fuel tank was mounted to the engine 😲. I think it was only rudder and elevator control(2 channel radio). Good times! Great vid!
@dronecamps3 жыл бұрын
Haha yes! That’s cool you had one. I just bought an original in the box off of EBay. I had forgotten that it was only a single stick controlled!!! 😜😜😜😜 #fullthrottle

When I saw the foamy exterior, I did not expect to be pleasantly surprised to learn there was a 6 axis gyro inside, and then watching it fly was even more cool

Have nothing to say except that I enjoyed that review, not particularly because of that plane (just too much on the beginner side) but because of your enthusiasm talking about flying planes. You should do a q&a or story time video about rc. Happy flying and stay safe everyone.

Thank you. Planes always put me in that space where I had such wonder as a kid. Wondering about the possibilities of the life I would live. Who I would be and the places I would go. RC planes are symbols of our dreams in air. Wishes, hopes, fears, and will to live. I will consider doing an RC story time. Great idea DMarko.

Best flight I've seen of this "Eachine" re-brand Mini Cessna. I must admit I was not expecting much since it probably uses the guts out of the "Eachine" Mini Wing Dragon - a real POS! Things to watch out for on this would be the On/Off switch going high resistance and dropping the board voltage. Also the servos jittering and perhaps the aileron servo being overloaded by that dumb "round the corner" aileron set-up with the hinge joints not aligned. Probably a good EPP chassis for conversion to brushless with flaps added but WAY too expensive for just that purpose. For those so inclined it uses MT99XX protocol and Dragon sub-protocol on a Multi radio.
