This suggestion is definitely going to be added. From what I've heard from IFC and their confirmed news back in 2020, they're planning to push out an entirely new graphics engine for Infinite Flight under the name 'Project Metal'. It was speculated to be pushed out by the end of this year but with the new recent update and the amount of tweaking and perfecting the engine they have to do, it's probably going to be released within 2025.

Dropping it that early is typically to help slow down and create more drag. If you’re already at a good speed for flap deployment you can instead lower the gear at the normal 10-15 mile point.
