Let me show you how to fold 3d origami pieces (triangles) size 1/32nd. This piece is done of A4 sheets. This is such ordinary sheet for printer.
We need ordinary sheet of printer paper A4 (or 9" x 12")

Once again bend in half and cut
And we continue to do the same

Now we fold piece, repeat after us

You can do better by using a paper cutter. Quick and easy. If you rip the paper - you have the chance of not having a straight edge.
