Thank you! A little quick for me, but 1000 X better than the instructions on the Jester website.

To be honest it's a little too quick for me too. Thanks.

I have been having a bunch from my Queen supplier and they are not indestructible but very tuff and last a long time if you take care of them. They are awesome!

We agree. All of the nucs we sell are in these boxes. Thanks for the comment

It would be helpful to see other angles to see which tabs you’re using, especially inside the box. This was maddeningly frustrating and only somewhat helpful for someone who has never assembled one of these.

Hi Bob. Excellent video---as usual. I'm in Richmond VA and expect to be using these this year for nucs rather than the cardboard version for selling my overwinter nucs. I can also see how using these could greatly extend my available equipment in creating Spring nucs from splits. I have a modest operation, and would like to order a pallet and split it with another local beek, but am having difficulty getting a response from Jester. Any advise? Thanks.

Can you use these boxes to split hives in spring, then keep them in the box until time to sell. If so how would you recommend making an entrance for the bees?
@bobbinnie98723 жыл бұрын
Yes, they will work for that and they already have an entrance that can be easily closed for transportation.

Was wondering why mine was so hard and I realized they didn’t pre crease any of my folds. That along with having to search instructions online really turns me off this product. They also are a bit too wide for 5 frames

here is a question - how do you go about feeding these boxes? Any ideas for feeding via a 70mm feeder top?
@bobbinnie98723 жыл бұрын
Cut a hole in a heavy block of wood and put it over the small hole in the nuc box.
@j.davidweidner91193 жыл бұрын
@@bobbinnie9872 Thanks - was gonna use a square block of 3/4 with a 70mm hole - appreciate your prompt response - best vids our there!

@@j.davidweidner9119 I forgot to mention that one gallon buckets like the ones seen in our feeding videos work well too.

If the boxes are leaking bees! what did I do wrong? Thanks in Advance.

We generally don't have that problem so I'm not sure. Perhaps a fold wasn't right or it's inside out.

How much are they and where can we order ?

Dadant is a distributor for them. The cost should be in their catalog.

Can it be used as swarm trap?

You cold try but I don't think the bees would choose it well because of the type of material.

What I do is put the Jester nuc straight in the bin, that way I can use one that isn't both terrible and difficult, lol

Man this video absolutely didn't help. What about the inside/different angles. Just my thoughts
