I found when setting it up that if you click the sides striaght before pushing down the red tab (base) it works fine. If you push down the base and then try to straighten the other sides it does not work. Hope this helps.

I think you just have to push the button, pull it up slightly and then it goes down easily!

makesure ground floor still release, if ground floor was tighten make click harder

Guys found it out. Just keep in the middle of the bed where the red pul is folded, then try the side bars to make it straight

utter rubbish, wont click when trying to open it and if eventually you do get the cot to open fully it wont release no matter how you do it. Complete waste of money and time
