Nice tutorial delivered with good humour and a smile. Have not previously witnessed folding keikogi from the 'left' side-on position (I usually fold mine from a kneeling position with the bottom of the jacket towards my knees - but the result is the same). The resulting fold appears to be something of a cross between the traditional round fold (maki-no-gi) and a square fold (shikaku-no-gi). As with all things in Martial Arts, there is more than one way to skin a cat. ☺

Nice video, thank you! But what is wrong with these people? Don't they know right side and left side?? Recently I watched an interview with another female sensei where she was asked about the age she started practicing karate. The answer was that her father (who was her first karate teacher) allowed her to start with karate when she knew right and left and how to count to ten.

You did it the second way I do it the first way where I put my folded pants in the middle I fold the right side then the left and fold the bottom twice it looks like a rectangle then I put the folded belt on top

Mine is 100% cotton so it's thick, but i know there are other types out there.

This is not the only way to fold the uniform, of course. Just like there are at least 6 ways to tie our karate belts, this is just one of them and almost the same way Kanazawa sensei published in his books. 😉
