How To...Fondant Koala Bear Tutorial

Tutorial on how to create a koala bear out of fondant.
My first KZbin vid tutorial so please excuse the dodgy camera work. I've just noticed that in certain sections you can't actually see what I'm doing :) I also had to cut out the part showing how I made the ears as the video was far too long. Hopefully I will be a better videographer and editor for my next video.
Some comments about the fondant and tools that I used during the tutorial:
* Fondant has tylose powder added to strengthen.
* Water was used to glue parts of the model together.
* The fondant mould which I used to make the pink bow is from FMM Sugarcraft.
* Bendy blade used is actually a clay modeling tool. The brand is Sculpey.

Thank you so much for your tutorial. I have so much trouble doing black fondant....I keep putting black coloring gel at a little bit of fondant but it turns melty and then I add sugar icing and the color still very pale...someone can help me please?

LOVE LOVE and LOVE. I love your work, is like a fairy tale ... Please add more tutorial. How do u do the cat on the "Octonauts Birthday Cake Number 2 Lieutenant Kwasi and Tunip. (March 24, 2013)... Is it possible to list the material that you use and the quantity of dough for each section of body. I'm a beginner and is a little hard for me to figure out the quantity of dough. Thanks. Hi. Thank you so much for your kind comments and sorry its taken so long to reply. The fondant I use for most of my sugar models is Satin Ice gumpaste. It sets quickly which helps speed everything up. Quantities I tend to go by eye and judge the proportions rather than weighing. After a but of practise you get a feel for the amount you need for the head, body etc, and there are times I get the ratio wrong too. For the Kwasi Octonauts cat I don't have a tutorial planned but I remember that on the Bronnie Bakes website / blog she did step by step pictorial on how she made her Octonauts figures. It was a great help for me when I was making that cake. Hope this all helps?
