So in this video myself, matt jones and alex cahill try to teach you how to do a footjam!
This is primarily a BMX trick and mostly used in skateparks but its always fun to learn new things, so give it a go and let me know how it goes!!

Maybe some advice to get the basic motions dialed would be good, like doing footjam stoppies and hops to get used to it. Also, is there a big difference when learning them out of a bank?

Weathers crap at the moment. Have been wanting to learn this for months but never practiced. I can never get back into the quarter but can always get into the footjam. Just getting back in is my problem. I guess I'll try it when I go back to the skatepark. Tiretaps are another thing I would like to learn.

i could never get enough grip with a suspension fork, but as a rigid has a much flatter surface at the back cause there is no bridge and bulges for the dust wipers that might work, ill give it a shot

I'm afraid that I will damage my fork by doing that, so I'm always helping myself with a front brake, but once it gets warmer, I'll give it a go the way you explained.

Durrant Miller suspension fork isn't as sturdy as the non suspension one, I wasn't afraid of doing that on bmx bike but puting my weight on the suspension one I'm afraid that I can bend the lags a little

As long as your fork is decent it should be fine. He's using a suspension fork in the video and I've never heard of anyone bending the fork because of a foot jam.

if your bike breaks doing this you're lucky because it means that it would have broken on a jump and you would have got hurt a lot more.
