Thanks it worked from updating my S10 plus to that horrible laggy Ui 3.0 to the Ui 3.1 which is a lot smoother now. I could not bare another month of that crappy 3.0. I wanted the 3.1 asap to see if the lag and bugs were fixed and yes it is. Only thing I hate is I still can't hide my pill shape front camera.

I was having an error in me middle of the update when I do it on the phone, and with the smart switch desktop was stuck in "setting up the installation". The solution was going to preferences in the computer smart switch click on the tab of updates and activate "Download previously the update". happily, it solved a problem of 5 months of being unable to update my Galaxy S9+. Thank you for the video, the images allow me to see that it wasn't even downloading the update from Samsung. Cheers man!

Hello! The latest update for Galaxy Note8 is Android 9. Thus, you can't install it officially. Additionally, 5G is a hardware feature and can't be added by software updates (missing antennas inside the phone).

Hello! I would suggest you try to do it via Odin (kzbin.info/www/bejne/o6Kcoq19hM1opa8). Flash the model but add a "1" at the end (ex. SM-988U to SM-988U1) and use the CSC_ file and not HOME_CSC_. BACK UP your data because it will be wiped.

Doesn't Odin show "ADDED!" when connected? If not, try going to Device Manager and check if there is Samsung USB driver present. Uninstall it. Restart your PC. Connect your phone again.
