It's amazing how simple processes can come together and transform a project into something that looks complex

What an excellent addition to your video offerings! I certainly picked up several tips I will use in future projects, even if they're not door knockers.

Hi Roy, thanks for another great video. Really enjoyed the idea of using the same theme like layering through your project, like the rosettes. ⚒🙏

Hey there Roy. Great videos dude, keep em coming. I believe you asked your followers for suggestions for some up and coming videos.... I'd like to see your ideas on forging a heart shaped decorative punch. I've seen punches of many shapes but not a heart. I'm sure something could be filed but rather see if forging one is possible. Many thanks.....

Hey Roy great work I'm thinking of making handles now a friend said there's good money in it what sort of prices do they fetch
@ChristCenteredIronworks4 жыл бұрын
It really depends on the shape and style of the handle but for a pair of fairly simple handles with maybe a Twist in the middle I would sell them for about seventy-five bucks. Thank you sir for taking a watch this video God bless you

Wow, nice work. Gives me more ideas for how to bend my rings. Have done a couple of doorknockers but with more struggeling to make them round. Have clips at my tubepage If you or someone else want to see. Thank you, will follow you.

Just tried for my first time, forge was too small to bury the steel. And the leaf blower sprayed all over keeping the fire cool.
@NOTINTERCEPTER014 жыл бұрын
My forge is small I've got an video on building my forge I use an cheap blower from amazon and you don't really have to use much water all the time it helps with with the coking of the coal there are more on Roy stream that's been doing this longer than me .
@horseblinderson47474 жыл бұрын
@@NOTINTERCEPTER01 for now I'm just doing it to learn a bit, and to maybe make some bodgery tools I'd otherwise not be able to afford on around of them being so specialized. For the most part the forge is just going to be for the heat treat seeing I don't really have a decent anvil I'm going to be a material remover rather than mover to start.
@NOTINTERCEPTER014 жыл бұрын
@@horseblinderson4747 you should check some of my videos out I use what I have around me to move metal it's not what you don't have its what you do have I make do with what I have and if you have seen the last live stream I sent an giveaway item to Roy and that was forged with what I had to move metal.
