Not sure how you're going to open a beer bottle with that, but liked it anyway! 😆

Excellent video series in your channel that deserves more views. Unfortunately, as a historical group of forgers western countries have a dying breed of blacksmiths that China, India, and now Africa have taken forward into their own industrial revolution where our products mainly get made or come from now. Nice to watch your work. I sub'd to your channel mate! 🍻

Nice job on the tongs, interesting action with the striker, must try it out. Having done quite a bit of gas welding myself I would be concerned for you eyesight :- not using dark glasses with a welding torch !!!

How do you get any force swinging a sledge like that? The process obviously works, so great job.

Seen lots of your videos Will, I know it is supposed to be the correct way but your striker working the hammer as she does is just wrong, something here is not right, please could you explain this!

Just striking as Will taught me, it's safe, accurate and I could strike all day using that technique

Striking with a hammer this way reduces the stress on the shoulders and elbows, and at the same time allows you to let the hammer do the work. Swinging a 6 or 8 lb hammer is not at all like swinging one under 3 lb.
