I am getting an error that says the partition of the memory card cannot be changed. Like you, i am using an older mac w a card reader. I found this video in an attempt to solve this problem. Do u have any ideas? Thanks!

Did you try a second time? some memory cards have certain partitions that the manufacturer adds on to it as a feature and in the end it's far from a feature. can you reformat the other partition?

What about 128gb micro Sd cards? There is no option for Fat32, I need Fat32

Too big for Fat32 but I could be wrong. I believe there are programs on windows which might allow you to do this.
