How to; Formulas and Calculations in Sewing / Crotch depth & Extension/ Armhole/ Neck Width

In this video, I showed you how to use methods ( formulas) to calculate Armhole depth ( length or chest line, crotch depth and extension and how to get the accurate neck width.

For Basic Neck 7.5cm/ 3” for front neck depth… 2.5cm/ 1” for back neck depth…

Hi Teebelle couture...thanks for the video.Please can you please elaborate on the neck depth formula as you did in the video. 2.Please can this formula work for shirts also. I am asking because with shirts the button line extends the neck line

I don’t know any other method in doing this except to measure it from the nape of your back neck to back waist length… But if i find something… I will surely update you.

Please neck depth calculations.. to avoid the neck being unrelated on the body after taking measurements that isn’t 3inches

For basic neck depth, I use 3inches/7cm for front neck and 1inch/ 2.5cm for back neck
