Always use black colour charcoal only. Don't use gold, silver or any other colors. Once ignited. Please wait until the charcoal is white colour which means the ash is fully covering the charcoal. Once white then start burning the incense. This way it will be like slow cooking so you get to enjoy more burning time without the burnt smell. Thank you

@@anubishound8179 The right way is to let the charchoal cool down a bit after lighting it up, and let it turn grey, and then put the bakhoor on. This way your bakhoor or oud will not burn, but difuse its perfect aroma.
