How To “Frame” with Paint and Hang Diamond Paintings!! Alternative to Framing!!

Hey you guys!!! In this video I wanted to show you how I display my diamond paintings. While I love the idea of framing each piece I’ve finished, I’m unwilling to invest the money it would take to do that. I also like the idea of being able to easily switch out my pieces when I want!!!
So this is my alternative!! Painting the borders and hanging with Command Velcro strips!! It looks beautiful and is much more gentle on the wallet!!! I hope you all find this video useful! Thank you so much for watching!!! Happy New Year!!!🥰❤️❤️

Your technique for pushing paint up to the edges of the diamonds is the same one we used to cut in paint at the top of a wall without getting it on the ceiling. Nice to know I may have use for an old skill. 😊

Yessssssss Shonta framing is on another level of expensiveness. I feel like unless I do a painting that I would want on my walls for years and years then that’s the only way I would even entertain the idea of an expensive frame. Other than that-nawww!!! Lolol!!!! Questions: Do you come across paintings and you want to change the color of the diamonds to shades of brown? If so, what colors , #'s and do you do shading? Oh, how long have you've been diamond painting. I'm just really starting squares and I love them not perfectly together for that wholeness view. Do you go straight or up when placing squares and do you use a multiplacer? I appreciate your assistance 💝

I also paint my borders. Also, sometimes I will take a very small art brush and paint before I put the drills on IF I am totally sure of what border color I would like to use. This also takes care of the excess glue on the edges too.

Oh the painting looks so good like that. Please let us see the other colors you do when you get them finished. I know not all paintings look good with the black border. The sea cottage is one that would look better with a lighter border. I wonder if i taped one off with painters tape i could use some gold spray paint and spray the border. I was thinking of trying that on one of my least favorites first in case it didn’t work out good. I really like this idea. You did a great job in demonstrating how you do it. You're brilliant!!! I have framed a few, and the large ones can be over $150! I bought a couple magnetic frames so I can switch out my diamond paintings, but if they are large, I have to secure the frame with a small nail to hold the canvas because otherwise it is too heavy... this is such as easy and affordable method!!!! Question... have you tried other colors, or just black? Thanks again for a great video!!!!!

Looks great. I like this idea and the command strips. Is there a trick to always keeping the ones on the wall and changing out on the back of the canvas so you can change around without having to change the ones on the wall. I have all sorts of acrylic paint so I will try those first. Thanks for the video. (I ordered that dp log book.. should get this coming week)

Hello there Sweet Billie!!!! For me when I take the painting off the wall, I grip the piece of Velcro that’s attached to the painting and gently pull it apart from the one on the wall and it comes off easily! The piece on the wall doesn’t even attempt to move!! I will then either put a new piece of art of a similar size in that same spot or if the painting is larger, I have found that even if both pieces of Velcro are at least halfway connected, the painting will stay on the wall with no problems!!! These Velcro strips are a game changer Billie!!! They work so well!!! Thank you my Sweet Friend for watching this one!! And I’m so happy your logbook is coming!!! With the DAC and Craftibly kits I’ve never sealed them and I’ve been lucky with my budget friendly ones to have never had a need to either!!
