I'm a newbie to Happy Planner. I use to use just $1 big monthly only layout with printouts glued in. Now that I'm making more out of life, I have alot more to write in. But I'm frustrated. There is no layout even on etsy for roadtrips, it's all flights. So I'm going have to go to library computer and its $1 to print off each non color page in hope to tape something in. I also love quarterly goals to check in on my progress and again there's nothing. I do like how you can make custom covers because I don't like the designs for this year! I love being able to rip everything out except the month view and that months weeks. Much lighter.

Great tutor. Thanks. I have never frankenplanned. I guess this coming year I will just have to look into purchasing multiple planners to do this. I stepped away from the happy planner after the first year. I am one back into it, but have not tried combining planners.

I was new to deco p,sinning and the happy planner was too big to carry around. As I delved into planning, I went to personal, TN and rings. I am now using the Happy Planner for deco and my hubby, not that he looks at it! I keep it on the kitchen counter so he knows my schedule if a Point ends and when I play cards and Mah Jongg. I am retired, but starting g in March, I will have a new grandchild that I will be watching a few days a week. She is due tomorrow, but I do not think that she will be making an appearance until 2020.

I apologize that you found it painful, my intent was just to share planning from my perspective. In addition it was also to let others who have multiple planners know that it’s OK. I get it…What works for me, may not work for the next person and vice a versa. Based on the positive feedback that I’ve received on this video, I think that I’m not alone in this. What is the difference between Frankenplanner and tranformer??

Frankenplanner... combining parts of multiple planners into one planner with one cover Transformer... combining multiple planners with their covers so when you flip to one it looks like just that one planner. There are some great videos here on YT

Abby described it perfectly… With the transformer, you keep the front and back cover and you were able to keep the actual planner together. Franken planning is more of taking multiple parts of a planner and making it what you need it to be. My goal is to be able to change out my layouts so that is why I put those particular planners together

No worries Sherrie! I do not carry this planner every day, I do leave it at home. When I go out I typically have my mini happy planner or my printpressions weeks (PPWeeks)which are smaller, purse planners. If there is information that I need to go with me I just take it from the catchall planner and put it into one of the purse planners..

Because my main planner is the Homebody. POB is a series I did last year, but I wasn't 100% sure that I was going to bring it into 2020. I only put one month of the Rongrong Planner to switch up if I was bored with the dashboard layout. In 2019 I used both the Amy Tangerine and the RongRong planners.
