Happy to help. Go to Row Subtotal options and select the row you want to get subtotal for. Ensure you have checked per row level option.

Is there a way for columns to be sticky at the end for example if you have an actionable button, you would want that to stay sticky in the column when you horizontal scroll?

Hey Mathhew, That might not be possible. But, there might be custom visuals that might offer this solution.

Can this be done for a web interface as well or does it just work for desktop?

Any changes made on desktop should be reflected on the uploaded report as well. However, I found Power BI report Server May 2024 version has an issue with this setup but, has been fixed for September version. If you are using Power BI online, there should not be any problem.

How can I freeze only some of the columns (fields used in Rows) and not all? Because I have many of columns defined in Rows section and Date hierarchy defined in Columns with calculated Values. Now I have frozen whole part defined in Rows and only values part can be moved. Thanks

add the columns you want to freeze in rows section. Other columns which you don’t want to freeze add to values section. If it is a numerical values, they will be aggregated so make sure you add a text column which is unique. So that it won’t be aggreagtef

How do I freeze more than 2 columns, when I try your technique only two show the others are not visible.

Go to time 1:50 of the video. In this video, I have frozen two columns. But you can add more and follow the same steps. Make sure you drill down until the option has been disabled.

I don’t think we can do it in a normal table. But if you add a unique text column to values section, it resolves the summarisation issue if that is the issue you are having.

Hey David, Use one of the columns that is unique in rows section. Maybe ID or key column something. This way there won’t be an aggregation even if there is an aggregation if you know what I mean.
