How To: Frontside 50-50

"How To" video number 35: Frontside 50-50 a.k.a. FS 5050, FS 50, The Tijuana Slip 'N Slide
Well, here it is! My first how to video about a grind. I plan on putting my recently attained box to good use by making a few of these grind and slide tutorials as well as some other fun stuff. Hope this video helps you if you were trying to learn this or just curious about starting to get into grinds. This one is fairly easy once you get comfortable getting up onto the ledge/curb.
The main things to take away from this are:
Stay balanced!
Use wax if you have to!
P.S. I know it's been taking a little while for the 100k video because I was hoping to get a play button but it looks like that's going to take longer than expected so I'll just have to make the video without it!

I tried to do this on a ledge and it was super slippery. Instead of landing in the 5050 grind I landed on the top am I bored flew out and I smack my butt on the corner and it was pretty sharp. I was bleeding.

@@pbands2586 just get on the object if it's a ledge of a box and just roll and Ollie off of it for a couple of times and then you just do the grind and Ollie out like you did without the grind. If it's a rail just practice ollieing off of a similar heighted object and then do the grind and Ollie after. It's easy if you commit. Good luck

All comes down to practise I guess...I can t even commit stationary. I take off my back foot because I am scared of falling backwards. Practise, you ll pop right at one point

I wish I could do these I've tried for like a year. I freak out as soon as I pop when that don't happen and I do pop good I still freak out mentally and my back foot wants to do a pop shuv. I got back 5050's all day though the fact that I'll be facing toward the ledge like that freaks me out but when my back is facing the ledge for back 50's it feels so natural like I was always meant to be doing them.

Whenever I do my 50 50 grinds my wheels always pop over the metal bit and on top of the ledge. Every time I roll up I feel my trucks locking in and then they just pop onwards and begin to roll on the box.

If you know how to ollie, do that and jump toward wherever you want to go. Helps to look where you want to land.

How do I fix this : I can only Ollie good when I do them up something like a curb or a ledge. When I Ollie stationary, I only can do them on grass since the board will shoot out backwards as I crouch and pop. When I Ollie on flatground moving, it seems that my back foot just comes off and I land sideways or too far toeside. My slide is also weird. But when a ledge or a curb is in front of me, boom. I can mostly get on top of it after a few tries.

I've always had a wicked pop when ollying off of something like a sidewalk or box. I dunno why. Whenever I ollie over an obstacle I think about popping off a ledge and my timing in snappy as fuck. It's all mental, I relate.
