@@ScrotumCat u prbly already got ur question answered as this is a yr old video. I can't answer for someone else, but I also wash ALL fruits n veggies b4 removing skin too. This is bc the skin is dirty. Whether it's bc it grows out of the ground, pesticides, store handlers, etc. If ur knife cuts into a surface that is dirty on the outside, u actually contaminate the inside of the food that cutting. So before the knife slices n penetrates the food, you want to make sure that the outer part of it is clean as well. I hope this helps😊

Just found a local shop that has plantains year round a carabian shop as a British guy we have awful diets and I went plant based a little while ago I still eat fish and some grass fed meat but I don’t eat meat every day… the carabian and Jamaicans have the right idea

Used vegetable oil. Fry on medium to high heat for about 5-7mins on both sides or until golden color
